It was great to see everyone this weekend at the Albany tournament. I was especially happy to see my players and their parents. I thank all of you for the well wishes and the gift certificate.
I further thank all the EDGE parents, players, and coaches for their thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital. I was told that you continuously asked about my progress. There were many offers of help and assistance for my family from rides for the boys, to meals and fruit baskets delivered to our house. We are very appreciative and grateful for all that you have done for us.
I was glad to be back on the bench this weekend even if it was only to assist. I especially thank Coach Breitfeller, Coach Santoro, Coach Verdis, and Coach Kutchma for lending their coaching expertise to my team in my absence as well as over this past weekend. Thank you also to the players and parents of these coaches for allowing them to help me out while I recover. It is a great feeling to know that the EDGE community is so supportive when in the time of need.
I will be back this week to run my practices and am looking very forward to being back in full swing for our upcoming Hershey’s Tournament. I hope my 15s are ready for me to make up for lost time!
See you all this week!
