Edge Athletics concluded its camp season with a three day Offensive Skills and Shooting Clinic. The sold out session, held at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in early August, featured athletes from Dutchess and Ulster Counties that were eager to improve their skills. Unlike the three weeks of “Traditional Camp” also held at the school that featured a full week of competitions with championships, the skills clinic focused on shooting form and ball handling techniques. Shooting instructor and skills development trainer, coach Jim Santoro, provided personal hands on instruction to the entire group. “The athletes that attended really responded to the intense training our staff provided,” said coach Santoro. “But more importantly, we wanted the athletes to leave with the education that will help them grow on their own time,” he added.
Shooting and skills development instruction will also be available by coach Santoro starting in September. Check out the video!
